Nido Student was embarking on a critical phase of expansion, aiming to launch new accommodations and attract students in diverse European cities (including Dublin, Porto, Lisbon, Seville, Barcelona, and Copenhagen), alongside maintaining strong presence in the UK. The primary challenge was to cut through a competitive market and rapidly build brand awareness and interest for these new locations. This required a high volume of engaging, culturally resonant digital and print marketing assets—from social media to PPC banners and videos—that could effectively communicate Nido‘s value proposition across various platforms and national contexts.
As a Mid/Senior Graphic Designer, I was at the forefront of creating a wide array of digital and print collateral essential for Nido Student‘s market penetration. My responsibilities included:
- Content Creation: Designing and producing visually impactful GIFs, dynamic videos, and performance-driven PPC (Pay-Per-Click) banners tailored for various digital campaigns.
- Brand Alignment: Collaborating closely with executives and marketing teams to ensure all visual assets were consistent with brand guidelines while strategically adapting to specific market trends and cultural nuances in each European region.
- Campaign Support: Actively contributing to integrated marketing campaigns by providing the necessary visual tools to attract and engage potential students across multiple digital channels.
- Visual Strategy: Translating marketing objectives into compelling visual concepts that resonated with the target student demographic.
Task
To significantly enhance brand visibility and engagement for Nido Student's aggressive expansion into new European markets, while also promoting existing accommodations in the UK and Ireland.
